Welcome to WebCT!
Below you will find instructions to help you get started with WebCT. If you choose not to view this information in the future, you can access WebCT from our homepage, or by going directly to http://ims.sctc.edu
Username
Your username is made up of your 8-digit SCTC Tech Id and the campus code of "208".
- Example: If your Tech Id is "12345678", your user name is "12345678208".
If you are attending Ridgewater (Hutchinson or Willmar Campus) and are accessing a WebCT course at St. Cloud Technical College, your username is your 8-digit Tech Id + ".r208".

Example: If your Tech Id is "12345678", your username is "12345678.r208
Initial Password
Your initial password is your tech ID number without the leading 0's.
- Example: If your tech ID number is 00091234, your initial password is 91234.
Step 1:
Sign in using your user name and initial password.
Step 2:
Change your password by clicking on the Change Password link on the upper right of your screen.
Step 3:
After changing your password, your session will become invalid. Log in again, this time using your new password.
Step 4:
Choose your course from the choices on the left side of your screen.
Click to ENTER WebCT!
