Athletics, Clubs & Organizations
St. Cloud Technical College provides more than just classes. Social and extra curricular activities will also play a significant role in your education. Our student organizations represent a variety of occupational interests and give you an opportunity to get to know the students and faculty around you.
The Student Senate sponsors a multitude of activities from winter fest to job fairs, noon time events, intramural and varsity sports.

One of the many highlights of being a student at St. Cloud Technical College is the free membership to the YMCA and Whitney Recreation Center. This is a great way to relax, get in shape and meet new people. It is also conveniently located with in walking distance of the campus.
Student Clubs
St. Cloud Technical College students have the opportunity to participate in one or more of the ten recognized student clubs on campus. Detailed information on each club may be obtained by contacting the Student Center at 320-308-5922.

Sports
St. Cloud Technical College offers extramural/varsity competition in co-rec volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s basketball and golf. Teams compete against other colleges and technical colleges in league and tournament competition. Interested students may sign up, or receive further information from the Student Activities Coordinator. While it is strongly recommended that interested participants sign up in advance of the season, players are can join during the season, pending roster limitations.
Based on the number of sign ups, tryouts may be required. Tryout dates will be posted on the Athletics’ Bulletin Board in the Student Center. You may sign up even if you miss the initial sign up date. Contact the Student Activities Coordinator for more information or available roster spots.
Intramural Sports
Intramural sports are offered through a participation agreement with St. Cloud State University Campus Recreation. St. Cloud Technical College students may participate as a team or individual. Event sign up sheets and individual participation forms are available in the Student Center. Contact the Student Center Office at 320-308-5922 with questions or for assistance in signing up a team or as an individual participant.
