How to Apply
St. Cloud Technical College processes applications based on the date of receipt of application, transcript and application fee. When more applications are received than there are spaces available, a first come first served policy will be used. Priority will be given to completed applications received at least four weeks before the first day of classes. Students who have left the college and plan to re-enroll in a future academic year will be required to pay a $20 application fee each time they re-apply.
Use the following checklist to insure accurate pre-enrollment processing (International Students, click here for an application checklist):
- Your application (PDF), $20 non-refundable application fee, official high school transcript or a copy of GED certificate has been submitted to the Admissions Office.
- Official college transcripts and transfer credit forms have been submitted to the registrar for review for transfer of credit.
- Make an appointment with the Information Center to tour the campus and obtain, if applicable, information about the following:
- Complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to begin the financial aid process. Assistance is available in the Financial Aid Office. Call 320-308-5961.
- Confirm attendance by returning confirmation forms to the Admissions Office along with a completed immunization form.
- After acceptance, schedule assessment testing with the Admissions Office. Call 320-308-5089.
- The admissions process to St. Cloud Technical College is completed by attending Orientation and Registration on the day scheduled for your program.
- For North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Manitoba residents only: You have completed and sent the tuition reciprocity form.(Residents of states belonging to the Midwest Student Exchange Program need to verify their residence with our college.)
- Ask for counseling assistance if you need help making education, personal, or career decisions.
